UTI Consultation
Book a consultation with a pharmacist if you are suffering from symptoms of urinary tract infection
Service Description
UTI's (urinary tract infections) occur when microbes (microscopic bacteria) or germs enter the urinary tract or bladder and multiply, causing a number of painful symptoms. If left untreated, the infection can spread to your kidneys and other parts of your body, so it’s important to know the signs to look out for and seek treatment immediately. To access treatment you must be: -female -aged between 18 to 65 years (inclusive), and -displaying symptoms consistent with an uncomplicated UTI, such as burning or stinging pain when you urinate, and frequent need to urinate. Our pharmacist will ask you additional questions during the consult to check if they can provide you with treatment. If you do not meet the eligibility criteria to receive the service by our pharmacist, we will refer you to appropriate alternative care, such as your GP.
